IMF in Suriname
Paramaribo, the 22nd of April 2016.
A meeting of Suriname's Parliament on an IMF progam to restore the current economical crisis was overshadowed by opponents and supporters.
Opponents led by leader Curtis Hofwijks, blame president Bouterse for major financial mismanagement and corruption with the slogans " We zijn moe " (We are tired) and " Pe a moni de? " (Where's the money)
The larger group of supporters (still) believe that the president will solve the financial crisis.
